Hi, sometimes my laptop take a long time to load up. I am using windows vista. I was told to tune up my "clock". Will this void the warranty?

It won't void the warranty, however, It's not recommended to change the clock, let say to some other time before this. With this, you might have problem logging into MSN or something that relying on current date for functioning
